Indra Ceramic is one of the traditional ceramic industry growing from a small business at the beginning of Lampang ceramic industry. Indra Ceramic is now the leading of ceramic manufacturer and exporter in Lampang.
Indra Ceramic was established in 1977 by Mr.Suwit Napawan and Mrs.Pratueng Napawan who have nearly been 40 years experienced of pottery industry in Bangkok. In the name as “Indra Pottery”, they produce the terracotta planter, large jar, tile and refractory brick by firing in the Dragon Kiln which using the firewood as fuel.
The years later, Mr.Suwit Napawan created the new firing kiln using LPG as fuel and produce the traditional Thai blue & white home decorative items. He also distributed the kilns for almost 200 kilns. |

In 1988, Indra was registered as Company Limited and administrated by three heirs of Mr.Suwit. We began to produce the tableware with colorful design to satisfy the European markets demand and commenced to export to global markets in numerous countries. Nowadays “Indra Ceramic” is renowned as one of superb manufacturer in under glazed hand-painted tableware of the world.
In 2005, we invested with the capital of 60 millions Baht (2 million US$) to set up “Indra Outlet”, the biggest factory outlet in the North. There are the products from over 30 factories distributing at our Indra Outlet as well. It now becomes one of the famous tourist place of Lampang recommending for the tourist.
